and your PGN files.

Information accessed
When you connect, the app may read the display name and an opaque identifier for your selected Google account; the name, size, modification date and identifier of selected PGN files; and their contents to open them or import them into your local library.
The only requested scope is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. The app does not request permission to read all files in your account.
Processing and storage
- Tokens stay in memory during the operation. They are not saved in cookies, IndexedDB or our servers.
- Linked-file metadata is remembered locally in this browser until you remove the links or forget the account.
- Temporary downloaded contents are removed after use and, at the latest, after 30 minutes.
- Importing creates a copy in My PGN Databases in this browser. It stays there until you delete it.
Selected PGN files are not sent to Silicon Chess servers or analytics tools. Closing the browser does not necessarily remove a copy you chose to import.
Use and sharing
Google data is used only to display, open or import the PGN files you select. It is not sold, used for advertising or shared with third parties, except for direct technical communication with Google APIs needed for this feature.
Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your controls
You can remove a linked PGN without deleting the original Drive file; forget all local links for an account; revoke permission in the app or in your Google Account; and delete imported copies from My PGN Databases.
Revoking access or clearing site data prevents future reads. It does not delete your original files in Google Drive.
Security and changes
The feature uses size limits, file validation, HTTPS connections and account separation within the browser. No system is infallible; keep backups of important databases.
If the account belongs to a minor, connecting Google Drive requires a parent or guardian's authorization and supervision where applicable. Material policy changes will be published here with a new date.
